SHOULD STATES BE ALLOWED TO REGULATE AND MAKE LAWS ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION?

So i have an AP Government letter for additional credit as well as i need it.

Here is the prompt:

“Should the states be available to order laws relating to immigration or alternative rights as well as responsibilities of authorised as well as bootleg aliens”

we need to take the mount upon it as well as urge it.

ANY HELP, COURT CASES, ANYTHING THAT COULD HELP ME TAKE A STAND. I DONT CARE WHICH VIEW I TAKE, I JUST NEED THE EXTRA CREDIT.

THANKS!

No, they shouldn’t. The founding fathers intended this to be a federal responsibility, as they stated in the constitution. Imagine the chaos that would result if every state tried to set its own policy.

Yes, but more than that our Federal government should be enforcing the national laws that we have regarding illegal aliens. And they should change the law so that anchor babies don’t have automatic citizenship.
