WHAT ARE THE LAWS FOR ALABAMA FOR LIVE MUSIC LICENSES?

Since we have set up the website, we have had 3 companines hit us observant we have been not in correspondence with the internal laws for live music. They have been harrasing us. We have had bands personification outward for thirteen years, as well as it has only come up. The Companies have been BMI, Ascap, as well as ses-c. If we have any report upon these companies or have dealt with them greatfully help. Thanks.

These companies are the companies responsible for enforcing musician’s rights regarding their music. If you have bands playing popular songs, you have to pay these companies for the right to do so. I strongly suggest you contact a local attorney to figure out what you need to be doing differently because they will have no problem suing the crap out of you and shutting you down.

ADD: And if you think the company won’t waste their time on some little place in Alabama, you’re wrong. The headquarters for BMI and ASCAP are in Nashville so they don’t even have far to go.
