I would get a BA in Business, then go to law school.

First you need to decide which country you’d like to practice business law in.

Then ask people who know the routine in that country!

Business law always interested me also ;I spend so much time lawyer bashing I sometimes forget. You need to major in some thing Business will serve you well ,Then if you change your mind about law school.you have the groundwork in place for an honest occupation. While in school, check out going after your respective state Real Estate license.work at it in the summers and get some real life experience in real estate law and possibly pay your way through school.Might just find your niche.

hi kb..from ur problem its confirmed that you are seek of maths and science…and moreover u are very possesive of the type of education and to be called in the future. One thing you should know that each and every type of education needs different talent..In pharma field you have no field related to maths and science u have to study..but dont take panic, if u know the concept of a thing u can go smoothly in the subject….law on the other hand is also a good option..a person has option to specialize in any field of law such as criminal, civil, business, cyber, environmental, patent etc..and ur option to indulge in business law. BusinessLaw also seeks the knowledge of maths, you should be perfect to calculate certain things in tips,….business law also covers the knowledge of tax and rebates…Moreover I think for a perfect business lawyer u should be well updated with the latest maths..So the subject which u don’t want to do also is ur enemy and the subject u want to do is also ur enemy.Ultimately u should not do anything if u r seek of any subject…..

but I am sure you can do both the things with very ease if u can take any subject without fear like me..

May I help You? August 26, 2011 at 1:09 am

Talk to a guidance counselor at a college near your home.

They have the best advice, and sometimes have lawyers or law professors that can explain the qualifications and discipline that you need to enter that profession.
You may also contact a corporation near your home and ask for their legal department. You may ask any of the lawyers for advice, which they may give you if you say you’re trying to find a mentor.
Lawyers are special – and sometimes not so special.

GOD bless us always.

Contrary to some of the posts, you do not need to “specialize” in anything prior to law school, and you don’t “specialize” while in law school. You only designate a specialty after law school when you determine what type of law you want to practice. That being said, I would not attempt to obtain a job in a prominent business law firm without at least having a BA in business, as you would want that strong background to support your law degree as well as a strong understanding of business issues, terminology, application, etc., so as to understand how to apply the law to business specific issues.
