WHAT ARE THE LAWS REGARDING AN 18 YEAR OLD DATING A MINOR?

I know there have been laws about carrying sex with the minor, though is there anything about dating? If you didn’t have sex would which be authorised or illegal?

No laws about dating, but if sex is involved it is statutory rape and the 18 year old would be charged with a felony sex offense – making them a sex offender and having to register as one for life. That’s the worst case scenario. If they are close in age the Romeo and Juliet law might apply and the older could be charged with a misdemeanor.
