HOW DO I FIND THE LAWS REGARDING TENANTS/LANDLORDS IN TEXAS?

I am renting an unit in College Station, TX. I need to mangle my lease, so I am seeking for the little discipline upon what constitutes the current complaint, penalties, etc. I’m not certain if particular cities have their own laws, or if it is all state law. If it creates the difference, it is the college unit which advertises itself as usually renting to college students. I will be graduating from college in the week, so i need to pierce to get the job.

Please help!

You need to read the contract you signed, that is the only thing that counts, not ads. If you can find a clause in there the landlord violated you would need to sue him for breach of contract in order to be released from the contract.
