WHAT LAWS ARE THERE WITH USING REAL NAMES OF BANDS IN A NOVEL?

I was wondering since an critical eventuality happens during the unison for my character. She is in South Korea during the year 1999 as well as is in the throng for the third H.O.T concert. I was wondering what laws there were about regulating the bands names.
I won’t ^-^. They have been kinda my the one preferred rope too, yet I use their songs as the kinda eye-opener for the character.

You can use the name(s). As long as you market the work as fiction, you can pretty much make it anything you want.

Personally, as a music fan, that’s something I’d look up to make sure I got the performers in the right order and all that, if it was an actual event.

Just be careful, as an unpublished author without a team of lawyers to back you up, not to make them mad. (You don’t need the hassle.) Don’t make the band’s lead singer a serial killer in the story, ya know? :)
