HOW IS IT THE WORLD HAS LAWS IF IT CAME FROM AN ACCIDENT?

We have been taught in propagandize which the large crash speculation is how we got here. How is it which something incidentally crushed together as well as combined this earth with laws. There have been laws to all in inlet as well as in science. There is no approach which something could incidentally occur as well as be so perfect. How is it which the earth was placed ideally divided from the object as well as the moon. If the earth moves reduction than an in. off the trail it would possibly solidify or fry. There is no approach probable we can have an blast as well as something only incidentally ideally is placed. Test the speculation upon earth. You reap what we sow. If we plant an apple seed we get an apple tree. It isn’t accident. So greatfully insist to me how an collision combined perfection.

You have that backwards. The earth wasn’t “perfectly” placed from the sun. The Earth was positioned first, and it just so happened that life developed later.

Misses M August 17, 2010 at 7:22 am

what accident?

honey, big bang was not an accident but an occurance.

the laws come directly from manifolds of 11 Dimensions that resulted in our universe.

ask yourself, what would happen if conditions did not support you being here : would you be able to ask this question?

The Bog Nug August 17, 2010 at 7:22 am

Perfection? You call the existence of Dick Cheney perfection?

Colette Pioline ART August 17, 2010 at 7:31 am

The earth wasn’t perfectly placed so that life could begin here.

Life began here because the earth had the correct conditions to foster life.

Dreamstuff Entity August 17, 2010 at 8:28 am

“accident” implies somebody tried for something different.

Look at the other planets: dead. Nobody to ask why there is no life. The only planet in our system which can support life is this one.

>If the earth moves less than an inch off its path it would either freeze or fry.
Whoever told you that was lying. The earth’s distance from the sun isn’t even constant – it varies from 91 million miles to 94.5 million miles according to the time of the year.

Trees aren’t an accident, nor are they designed – they evolved to fill a certain biological niche.

Don’t worry – your teacher will hopefully explain most of this. If not, books are available, as is the internet.

Meh August 17, 2010 at 8:45 am

Cool story, bro

Oscar|OZ August 17, 2010 at 8:45 am

Well My pro creators were drunk and the Smashed together, that’s how I got here. I have to say it’s evolution, humans found other humans and decided to be good to each other until conflict arose, then they separated. From there they decided to govern their own little communities to avoid conflict within and survive.

Snakes have leg bones. Whales have toes. A moon of Uranus, Miranda, was blown apart by an asteroid, but reclumped together days later. Science happens, and we see it every day. And the theory is still being looked into, but generally has some basis in fact.

Frankie August 17, 2010 at 9:54 am

You speak as though you know what you are talking about.
You don’t!

JD August 17, 2010 at 10:42 am

Perfection? You think viruses, AIDS, cancer, and mutations are works of perfection?

Big Bang is probably more common than one might believe, so it was bound to happen sooner or later.

As for Earth being in the “perfect” position…. It is the way it is because if it wasn’t this way you wouldn’t be here right now. You only believe it to be God because you are here and so it “must” be a God. But it isn’t.

thatonedudewhosaysstuff August 17, 2010 at 10:58 am

1 inch, lol where’d you get that a fundie site. I am not going to bother explaining all the retarded stuff you just said. I have HW to do…

shootersway August 17, 2010 at 11:19 am

Because the accident created the laws you idiot not the other way around but I suppose you can’t see clearly your head being up your ass.

A Modest Proposal August 17, 2010 at 11:31 am

Not everything is perfectly placed. The Earth is the ONLY planet we know of that has life; the Moon is moving away from the Earth at a rate of a couple inches a year and will soon leave its orbit, which will throw off the Earth’s orbit around the Sun and ruin our climate; in a couple billion years, the Sun will expand to engulf all the inner planets; even before that, our galaxy will collide with the Andromeda Galaxy, and Earth will certainly be obliterated.

God sure didn’t double-check his answers.

wedantil August 17, 2010 at 11:54 am

The problem with your question is that you make it clear that no matter how well somebody answers you, you will not listen to the answer. You ask the question in an extremely biased manner. in fact, I am not sure what part of the earth you see as perfection – it is not “perfectly” placed from the sun and the moon. The fact is that the distance from neither is constant – it changes. The speed at which the Earth rotates also changes. There is no “one perfection”.

Look at snowflakes. They are random – accidental you could say, and no two are the same, but each is perfect in its own right.

Jhgtktvyk T August 17, 2010 at 12:29 pm

how is it that a pothole is perfectly shaped for the puddle?

crempel2007 August 17, 2010 at 12:45 pm

You seem to think that the laws were created. In fact, the laws are simply definitions of behavior. They do not need to be created, things just act the way they do.

Also, what if the laws were a bit different? There might not be life on Earth, bu there probably would be something else that is equally as interesting.

We shouldn’t think that anything is perfection, and you are far to selfish to and pompous to see that it is possible that we are simply an accident. And of course, our world will be destroyed in at least 4 billion years, that does not seem perfect to me! Probably the human species will be dead long before then anyways. Asteroids, wars, floods, volcanoes, etc. will kill us out one day.

As hard as it is, you must come to terms with the fact that your life, my life, and everyone elses life is actually pointless.

Get off your high horse and stop thinking that universe is fine tuned for us. The universe is as it is, and we came into existence as living things on this Earth because it was possible, not because it had to be.

Being worthless is hard to accept, but the sooner you do it, the better your life will be! It opens your eyes, and lets you see other people as equals, for a change.

aaronmsl August 17, 2010 at 1:16 pm

“something accidentally smashed together” – you weren’t paying much attention when your teacher explained big bang theory were you?

The earth is perfect in what way? The universe is perfect in what way? The universe is the way we see it because we are a product of the universe – if it was different, we would see it differently. We wouldn’t be sitting around saying “clearly there’s no god – just look at how badly constructed the universe is” (actually, some of us do do that, but it’s beside the point).

“if the earth moves less than an inch” – well, inch, about 10 million kilometres either way, its all much of a muchness. Yes, the earth could shift literally millions of kilometres in either direction and still be within the zone life as we know it could survive.

Please, actually learn about something before you decide you disagree with it – its called an open mind, and contrary to what your religion apparently tells you, it isn’t a bad thing.

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die August 17, 2010 at 2:05 pm

Its not just the Earth that has laws. You seem to forget the universe extends outside our earth.
there were laws BEFORE the Earth and this solar system adn this galaxy came into being. Those laws are what MADE it what it is. It is not that the Earth has life, and that we’re lucky we’re on a planet that won’t kill us, its that the Earth is here, and it made its creatures, they evolved to live perfectly within the boundaries and capabilities of our Earth.
Do you think the world is perfect? Do the seasons change on course perfectlly? If the Earth was perfect, it wouldn’t be constantly changing! We wouldn’t have Earthquakes, lava wouldn’t erupt from the ground. If it was perfect, the world would make amends for global warming, in a perfect world the ozone layer would be impossible to tear through. In a perfect world, humans would not be able to mess with their surroundings as they can.
This is not perfection. And the Big Bang was no accident. An accident is defined as “An unexpected and undesirable event, especially one resulting in damage or harm”. Undesirable? Unexpected? If it was unexpected, its only because nothing was there to expect it. the universe works in its laws, and the Big Bang was just part of its eternal path.

Tristan K August 17, 2010 at 2:43 pm

The time line of the universe up to this point revolves around billions of coincidences. It didn’t happen cos someone made it happen, it just happened, and here we are today. What we have today took 15 billion years, it didn’t happen overnight, or in a week as the bible would lead you to believe.

J.B. the Super Nerd August 17, 2010 at 3:06 pm

Good question… It wasn’t an accident. People that are not intellectual dwarves realize this.

“If the earth moves less than an inch off its path it would either freeze or fry.”

I wish people, especially fellow Christians, would stop spreading this ridiculous heresy like it’s Gospel. The Earth’s orbit is not a perfect circle. The Earth’s distance from Sol varies throughout the year, from 91 million miles to 94 million miles. It would have to be at approximately 10 million miles different before Earth would freeze or fry.

So there are no accidents, but don’t cite the “half-inch” theory, it’s stupid.

(EDIT) Is it just me, or do very few people who “answer” this question actually answer it? My answer was “It wasn’t an accident”, but many other “answers” just take a misconception from the additional details and correct it.

The question is “How is it the world has laws if it came from an accident?” So why aren’t people answering it? The question is not about a “half-inch”, the universe “smashing together”, nor the statement that everything is perfect. I address these things post script; after I answer the question.

Colette Pioline ART, Meh, Frankie, JD, thatonedudewhosaysstuff, A Modest Proposal, aaronmsl, LHOOQ, The Bog Nug, and Eric.
These “answers” do not answer the question at all.

Almighty Atheist says, “We don’t know yet,” which is actually better than most of these “answers”!

Jhgtktvyk T answers the question philosophically. That’s better than most of these answers.

shootersway is one of the few answerers that directly answers the question.

crempel2 and I negate the question, saying it wasn’t an accident.

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die doesn’t really answer the question either. Comes pretty close to answering it, but kinda beats around the bush.

If you examine it closely, the only thing in Tristan K’s answer that answers the question is “it just happened”.

bamagirl doesn’t really answer the question but simply implies what the answer is. She, at best, indirectly answers it.

gribbling almost negates the question, but then renews it by saying, “it is just a manifestation of the laws of physics.” The question asks, “why laws are”, it starts over when he implies, “because of laws”.

And what in the world is with LHOOQ? She got seven thumbs up, but doesn’t even remotely answer the question.

bamagirl August 17, 2010 at 3:07 pm

I don’t understand that either. It is more rational to me to think that a God who loves and watches over us all created this world which works so perfectly together, then in it just appearing. If the world just appeared then how come no other planets have just appeared out of the blue since then in our universe. What proof is there of the Big Bang? Its called a theory for a reason, yet people question biblical creation but not man’s word. In my experience God’s word has proved more trustworthy.

gribbling August 17, 2010 at 3:56 pm

> “We are taught in school that the big bang theory is how we got here.”

Of course, what you *should* be being taught is that the Big Bang is how many scientists currently think the universe started.

> “How is it that something accidentally smashed together and created this earth with laws.”

The Big Bang wasn’t caused by anything smashing together.
And it was gravitational collapse of a cloud of interstellar debris that formed the solar system and the earth.

> “There is no way that something could accidentally happen and be so perfect. How is it that the earth was placed perfectly away from the sun and the moon. If the earth moves less than an inch off its path it would either freeze or fry.”

This is called the “Goldilocks Principle”. But it fails to take into account that if the earth were slightly warmer or cooler (and it would take a lot more than an inch, BTW), then life would have evolved to suit *those* conditions instead of the conditions we currently inhabit. It is the same way fish cannot survive out of the water: it isn’t that the water was created as a perfect environment for them: it is that they evolved in the water, and so are suited to that environment.

> “You reap what you sow. If you plant an apple seed you get an apple tree. It isn’t accident.”

Indeed not: apple trees have evolve to make more apple trees.

> “So please explain to me how an accident created perfection.”

[1] It isn’t an accident, it is just a manifestation of the laws of physics.
[2] it isn’t even “perfection”: if it were then there wouldn’t have been as many mass extinctions in the past (there have been many of these on a global scale: for example, the Permian-Triassic event, known as the “Great Dying” killed 96% of all marine species and 70% of all land species)

Eric August 17, 2010 at 4:11 pm

You are incorrect about so many things…

1. Nothing smashed together. It was the expansion of the conversion of energy to matter.
2. The earth is farthest away from sun in the summer, and closest in the winter. The distance barely changes the temperature, it’s the earth’s tilt.
3. It wasn’t an explosion. We just call it a bang because of how fast it happened.
4. Wasn’t an accident. Due to quantum physics, it has to happen. It wasn’t something like an atom bomb, or anything that would create destruction, but the beginning of existence.
