ARE LAWS IN EUROPE MORE PRO-PEOPLE THAN IN THE UNITED STATES?

i dont know most about the laws in euope though afterwards i have seen documentaries about lobbyists for mega-corporations removing the jobs of handling the regulatory bodies that have been ostensible to good the people, though instead good the companies.

You need to remember that most documentaries have agendas they are pushing.

Whether or not Europe is ‘pro-people’ depends on your point of view and what types of things you regard as ‘pro-people.’ Do you regard a lower personal standard of living due to higher taxes as an acceptible trade off for free medical treatment? Do you prefer the freedom to make your own choices or the protection of a ‘nanny state?’

Another thing to remember is that most European countries are much more ‘business friendly’ (and in fact many times blatantly protectionist) than US policies. Look at the subsidies given to Airbus for example.

Finally, remember that US culture tends to regard business as ‘evil.’ Think of your own attitudes – you criticize corporations for not being concerned about your welfare when they are just as concerned about your welfare as you are about theirs!

I believe they are there are way more protest’s there and Americans don’t have the time or money to take off and do these things. Only the community of a certain group of welfare people have time and they march in the millions!
